I am a social development and development communications specialist, mainly for the water and environment sector. My experience has been predominately in Asia, but I am interested in working in or closer to North America now that I have repatriated to the U.S. after nearly 18 years in Asia. I have a small consulting firm, Sugar Mountain Group, that specializes in communications and capacity building for water, environment, and climate projects. We host a full-service editorial and publishing team, and are also skilled in developing partnerships and collaborative networks. We prioritize projects that have clear development and poverty reducing goals. We reinvest a portion of our profits in providing communications support for the small but mighty nonprofit organizations doing effective humanitarian and sustainable work.
