Mohammad Mashal

About

Mohammad has two bachelor degrees in chemistry and chemical engineering from University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). He had an internship with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD) for three months (June-August). He worked with two departments, one of
which was the Research and Development (R&D) as an operator on a batch reactor and the other was with the mercury lab. He gained invaluable experience. 

last year (Nov-June 2016), he had the opportunity to work as a contractor with General Electric Power and Water (GE). He assisted GE with testing ZeeLung membrane to examine water treatment process, collected and analyzed data on ammonia, nitrate and oxygen diffusion level. 

Mohammad currently work at City of Chicago as Filtration Engineer. He assist the city of Chicago with mentoring the water quality and make sure that the drinking water up to standers and qualification using the knowledge of Chemical Engineering especially in the fields of water purification and filtration  as well as waste water treatment.
