Associate professor at the department of geoecology, senior research fellow at the Laboratory of lakes research of Belarusian State University, PhD (geographical sciences). The expert in the field of limnology and geoecology, studying of ecological state of lakes under the anthropogenic impact, management of natural resources of lakes. Participated in projects devoted to  monitoring of water quality, an assessment of natural and resource potential, restoration and conservation of lakes and their watersheds, management of water objects within specially protected areas; also in some international projects: TEMPUS «Improvement of education on environmental management» (2008-2012), CEI-KEP "Development of Decision Support Systems for integrated water management in Belarus" and "Application of open source software and methods for territorial analysis and sustainable use of natural resources in Belarus" (2012-2014), etc. Completed the course “Ecosystem vulnerability to climate change: methods for assessment, observations, and forecast” in Central European University (Budapest, Hungary); international eLearning course “European virtual seminar on sustainable development (EVS)” (Open University in the Netherlands, 2011/2012). Has developed training programs and gives courses: "Urban ecology", "Geoecology of lakes", "GIS in environmental management". The author and co-author of about 60 scientific works.
