Piet Snoeck is an ERM Technical Director with 20 years of professional consulting experience for both industrial clients and the government. He is based in Antwerp (Belgium), working for major industrial clients with focus on environmental and energy management systems, environmental risks & integrated water management.
Piet has a strong background in auditing, transaction services, portfolio liability management and environmental & energy management systems. In addition, he has a solid knowledge of waste and product regulations. Furthermore Piet carried out environmental management projects, training programs, complex permit requests, drafted a number of consent registers, and was responsible for environmental regulatory work in different fields of industry. He is an ERM CVS trained ISO 14001 assessor, and performs certification assessments, mainly in the pharmaceutical and chemical sector. Piet lead a wide range of corporate and compliance audit programs for portfolios of multiple sites in different jurisdictions in Europe, using Monte Carlo analysis. Since 2009, Piet performed technical assessments to identify cost reduction potential measures for energy & water, based on several tools (such as CBA). As part of his project finance work, he is familiar with the Equator Principles and the IFC Performance Standards of the World Bank.
