At S M Sehgal Foundation , I have been working with and for communities at the grassroots and provide them a media to exchange knowledge, ideas and experiences. I leverage the power of community media tools like  community radio, community paper, mobile technologies, wall paintings and street theater  to divide large information divide at the grassroots and champion the voices of the most isolated and vulnerable populations. A community radio that I had started with support of the foundation in 2012, broadcasts for 13 hours daily, and covers information related to water security, food security and social justice besides the entertaining programs for and by the community people.  I conduct capacity building workshops to train underserved communities to be citizen reporters and change agents using the power of media. Additional Roles : During my stint in the Sehgal Foundation, I have also taken up additional honorary roles with other organizations including a governing board member of community radio association 2016-18, advisor with India Development Coalition of America, since 2011 and founder member of community radio Alfaz-e-Mewat FM 107.8. Besides working for the not-for-profit sector, I worked for corporate and government sector too.
