Summary
I am a Principal Scientist at CSIR-National Environmental Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI), Nagpur. My research focus is on biological wastewater treatment. Basically, I work on improving biological processes for C and nutrient removal. I am fascinated by anaerobic technologies for sulphate reduction, ammonia oxidation, organic carbon degradation through methanogenesis. My group is actively involved in low temperature sewage treatment using both microbial and natural processes.
