DR. RISHIKESH UPADHYAY was born to Indian parents, Pitambar Upadhaya (father) and Nandakala (Bawni) Upadhaya (mother) in Bhanjang Basti, a small Nepalis’ hamlet in Haflong, the district headquarter of North Cachar Hills (now Dima Hasao), India. He is a multi-award-winning Indian writer and professor, chiefly known for his writings and teaching.
He earned MSc, MPhil and a PhD from Assam University, India.
Dr. Upadhyay writes articles, research articles, children's, book chapters, nonfiction titles, poems, etc., and has spent the past decade working and teaching in higher educational institutions. His works have been appeared, quoted and cited in several international journals and books.
