About

I am a freelance journalist based in the South West of England, UK. I specialise in environmental issues, climate change and renewable energy, but I also have an interest in transport, particularly rail, and the water sector.

My major client at present is Renewable Energy Magazine for which I write news stories, interview articles and the occasional blog. I have also recently written for Solar Thermal Magazine and Interesting Engineering and I have also been published in various magazines on a variety of topics.

My other writing skills include web content, report writing, academic writing, press releases and sales letters. Please feel free to contact me if you need assistance with any of these services.

The pictures below are of two of my news articles for Water 21 Magazine, Aquatech in 2015 and IFAT in Munich, plus myself again at Aquatech, where I was helping to write the event newsletter.

Water 21 was subsequently taken in-house by the IWA, so I don't write for it anymore, but I would be keen to write for the water sector again if anyone is interested in hiring me.
