About

I am currently working as an Officer-Admin & Finance in Support to Health Sector Program of GIZ (Implementing agency of Ministry of Foreign Development of Germany-BMZ) , joint venture with Ministry of Health of Nepal since Aug 2015. Right before it, I had worked as a Finance and Admin Officer in huge joint venture trial bridge project of HELVETAS Swiss Interco-operation which is consortium of Government of Nepal and other development partners like DFID, ADB and DANIDA.

Before this, I have more than 11 years (Oct 2004- Mar 2015) of experience particularly in Financial Management of CARE Nepal in programs that were supported by various donor such as USAID, DFID, CIDA, DANIDA, ECHO. I successfully performed  my skills  in budgeting, planning, partnership, book-keeping, accounting, monitoring, compliances of policy/procedures, controlling, analyzing/ review, burn rate analysis, reconciliation of sub-ledgers, donor’s receivables/payable, accounting data of various projects & programs auditing, grants and contract management, budget management, training and capacity building of partner organization, and other aspects of financial accounting and management accounting.

I have also coordinated and facilitated internal, external and donor’s audit. Over the time, I have also managed staffs reporting to me. I have good communication skills and I would like to consider myself as a team player. Having worked both at regional and country level starting from the grassroots, I am aware of the various aspects of financial management.

 

Academically, I have hold Master’s Degree In Business Studies (M.B.S. ) from Mahendra Multiple College-Nepalgunj of Tribhuwan University of Nepal .
