Saidi Ngutu is the Regional Director for WaSH Innovation whose mission is to provide access to basic hygiene standards in conditions where stationary solutions become unreliable or are absent. We believe that we are able to provide the best portable, water-saving and comfortable devices ensuring complete personal hygiene together with more advanced features such as hand-free cleaning.

 

He is also CEO of Oasis Green Africa Oasis Green Africa which is a Kenyan Based Company that promotes the use of renewable energy solutions and water and sanitation solutions. Founded in 2017, 

 

Prior to being the CEO of Oasis Green Africa, he was serving as a Service Provider Capacity Building Specialist/ Advisor with Development Innovations Group (DIG) Kenya under USAID/KIWASH Project. He was responsible for supporting development of sustainable sanitation value chains, including provision of technical assistance and capacity building support in equipment and safety, customer service, contracting, business management, and regulations to facilitate market-driven improvements in service delivery. Also supporting creation of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) Enterprises Service Centers to provide business planning and technical training to enterprises. He is also working with the County authorities to promote development/enforcement of regulations for safe and sustainable sanitation services. Prior to DIG, Saidi had 6 years’ experience in facilitating the development of improved service delivery in the water and sanitation sector while working with the Netherlands Development Organization (SNV) and Netwas International 

 

I have Masters in Development Studies, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Water and Environmental Engineering, Diploma in Management Information Systems among other professional training's. He has proper knowledge and skills in public private partnership, WASH value chain program design & development, rural and urban water sector development, strategic management, governance and financial management of water services, facilitation skills, coaching and mentoring. Further, Saidi is a lead facilitator of Water Safety Planing Course developed by World Health Organization and administered by International Water Association.
