I am a qualified aquatic ecologist, registered as a Professional Natural Scientist (Pr. Sci. Nat.) in Ecology under the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP). I have an excellent working knowledge of baseline and routine aquatic biomonitoring assessments, wetland delineation and wetland health assessments. I have experience in Present Ecological State (PES) determination of riverine habitat, macro-invertebrate, fish and vegetation using the respective accredited indices, as well as Ecological Importance and Sensitivity (EIS) determination and mapping. I also have a broad range of experience in environmental management services including environmental compliance auditing, ecological impact assessments and management plans.
