Sarah den Haring, Founder/Director at GreenWater Environmental Water & Sanitation Solutions
About
Sarah den Haring is a water & sanitation engineer based on the Kenyan coast. She founded GreenWater in 2005 in response to the need for preserving, treating and recycling water and has designed and built numerous wastewater treatment, water supply and rainwater harvesting systems since then. Her wide ranging experience includes working on sites as diverse as refugee camps, housing estates, rural communities, luxury hotels, ecolodges, a prison and flower farms. She is a passionate believer in simple, appropriate and affordable solutions. When such a solution may be done in a beautiful and ecologically diverse way then so much the better. We all have a responsibility to utilise water in creative and sustainable ways and Sarah is able to give some insights into this.
