I started to work for Stofnfiskur on 2015, a salmon ova company bought in the same year by Benchmark & Holdings, at the first lumpfish factory that Iceland has.

During 3 years I have been involved in the development and research of the first stages of the lumpfish and improvement in the live feed culture.

On September 2018th, I had the opportunity to change my role and get inside the salmon production, using my knowledges in water quality and treatment to follow the sustainability standards and keep a good environment track for the fish welfare.

It's my pleasure be involved in a really interesting field as the aquaculture is, and experience the speed of development that is happening. It's a really challenging field that asks for new ideas to keep a good environment and fight against degradation of ecosystems.
