Sharmin Sultana, Open to Entry-level Opportunities in Civil/Environmental Engineering Area

About

I’m a Civil and Environmental Engineer with advanced academic knowledge and professional experience of working effectively as a team player.

Currently, I’m working as a research assistant at Concordia University. I have completed my M.A.Sc program from Concordia University with a focus in Civil and Environmental Engineering in January 2017. Towards my degree, my research concentration was on optimization of combined Electro-Oxidation and Electro-Fenton process using Brewery Wastewater for reuse purpose. I have worked with Labatt Brasserie, LaSalle, Québec during this period as a part of my research work.

The research group I’m currently involved with is a multidisciplinary team which focuses on material characterization and membrane fabrication for osmotic processes (reverse osmosis, forward osmosis, and pressure retarded osmosis) and various engineering processes to treat high strength wastewater. As a part-time researcher, I am involved in some of those projects and have gained advance knowledge about those processes.
