• Teaching hydrogeology, numerical groundwater flow and solute transport modeling and related courses, and research
• Hydrogeological mapping, hydrogeochemical and environmental isotopes investigations, hydrogeochemical and isotopic modeling, groundwater system analysis; groundwater flow and solute transport modeling; rural, urban and industrial groundwater supply source investigation, application of remote sensing and GIS to groundwater prospecting, recharge and groundwater resource evaluation, groundwater development planning  and management for water supply and irrigation uses, well  siting, well  field design, well design and specification, drilling and construction supervision, aquifer testing and data evaluation; groundwater-surface water interaction, reservoir leakage tracing; water quality assessment for different uses, land fill site investigation; groundwater monitoring plan and design, and working knowledge on remediation
