Thakur P. Chauhan, Food security, livelihoods and climate chnage programme coordinator at CARE have more than 20 years of practical work experiences in multi-grants portfolio management with both institutional and private donors like USAID, DANIDA, EC, private donors etc, operational support, technical guidance and advice in the management and implementation of agriculture, food security and nutrition, climate resilience, women economic empowerment, livelihoods, agri-enterprises, natural resources governance projects/programs relevant to the impact groups; women and adolescent girls from poor, vulnerable and socially excluded communities in emergency, recovery and development contexts following one program approaches. I have excellent strategic, analytical, systems thinking, and problem-solving skills, with capacity to see the big picture and ability to make sound judgment and decisions. I provide technical advice, guidance, and management support to a wide range of program design and implementation issues in line with organization' program quality principles and standards, donor guidelines, and organization best practices to advance the delivery of high-quality programming to the poor and vulnerable. I am known for establishing and managing systems to ensure cohesion across and between all technical sectors. I ensure interventions are integrated, layered and sequenced appropriately at all levels of implementation to bring synergy, and multiplier impacts and to bring sustainable changes through evidence based advocacy and policy contribution.
