Being the Founder & Executive Chair of Water Air Food Awards (WAFA) is my childhood dream come true. It's my PASSION.
My name is TINA LINDGREEN. For the past 12 years I have been the CEO of WAFA (Water Air Food Awards). Based in Copenhagen, we have done some ground breaking, environmental and social work by celebrating the earth’s “silent heroes”– unsung pioneers whose low-cost, high-impact, grassroots innovations are having a beneficial affect on the planet. Our mission is to identify these selfless change agents and shine a bright light on the good work they are doing so their efforts can flourish and scale.
I’m having the time of my life doing this work - the most rewarding work of my life – and now it is time for me hand the reins over to someone else so I can hone in on stakeholder relations – helping WAFA secure the funding it needs to reach millions of silent heroes around the world. This is the very core of my passion.
