About
Travis started working in Afghanistan in 2006 and into 2008 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He then investigated the multi-stakeholder demands of the Savannah River Basin while earning a master's degree in Applied Fluid Mechanics. Travis went back to Afghanistan in 2010 through 2012 working on water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) projects and transitioned into general program management. He then led the Lebanon Emergency Response Team responding to the Syrian refugee crisis in early 2013. Travis completed a PhD in Environmental Health focused on the impact of WASH interventions in emergencies. He is experienced in a variety of field roles, including: project management, security assessment, monitoring and evaluation, and organizational management. Academic efforts have also led to field evaluations and several systematic reviews that were successfully published.Information
