Vanessa Higgins, Water conservation program liaison
About
My job is to build an appreciation for water services and an understanding of water supply and treatment processes. It is hard to value water if you are unaware of how it is used, treated and distributed. There are many connections between the state of our land and water sources and our quality of life as a community.
Helping people to make these connections in a positive and meaningful way can foster a sense of ownership and a drive to make changes for a healthier, more sustainable water supply. The residents who value water may also support government policy that protects water resources for current and future generations.
