As more urban areas are subject to climatic shocks attributed to climate change, accurate forecasting of the risks and identifying appropriate adaptation strategies are becoming increasingly crucial to society.
As a physical geographer with an emphasis on risk modeling, I am driven to identify vulnerabilities to populations and critical infrastructures. My background in GIS and remote sensing provides me the foundation for in depth spatial analyses with diverse applications. Multidisciplinary projects regarding flooding, heat stress, and droughts are of great interest and I am driven to learn more about their impacts within the urban space and how we can make these systems more resilient.
Fields of interest include flood risk mapping, urban water management, water scarcity, critical infrastructure, and urban resilience.
