Wali Muhammad Daud Pota, Assistant Professor at U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advance Studies in Water, MUET, Jamshoro

Daud Pota Wali Muhammad is Water Management Specialist, designer; Pressurized irrigation system, Water Storage Tanks, Water Control system, Community Mobilizer and Trainer. He has delivered various trainings and seminars in the field of water management. which include; Training Workshop on Crop Water Requirement , Seminar on Kitchen Gardening through drip Irrigation System, Seminar on “Application of Irrigation water through pressurized irrigation system” at University of Karachi, training workshop on “Design of Pressurized Irrigation Systems” Organized by Department of Land & Water Management, Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam, Pakistan, he was the resource person and delivered training to Lecturers and Post Graduate Students. He delivered training to Farm Managers on “Water Management for Crops” through NATIONAL VOCATIONAL & TECHNICAL TRAINING COMISSION (NAVTTC) program. He worked with IWMI and supported in formation of Water Users Association at tertiary watercourse channel and supported in formation of Water Users Federation for Bareji Distributary which off takes from Jamrao Canal in Sindh province. He has affiliation with NGOs; SAFWCO, SPO, MDF as Master Trainer in the field of Irrigation water management. He has 23 years’ experience in field work, research, training, mobilizing the water users for participatory approach in irrigation water management, Landscaping,  Drip Irrigation, Sprinkler irrigation, Bubbler, Rotors with solid knowledge of Irrigation products, Pumping stations, Wells, Pumps, working out cost estimates, farm machine management, irrigation and drainage sector development.
