AECOM is seeking a qualified and motivated Project Engineer for our office in Columbia, SC to support the Water Business Line’s South Carolina Conveyance Market.

The candidate should have:
Knowledge of various water practice areas including collection, distribution, storage and rehabilitation.
Strong organizational skills and be willing to work on multiple assignments with varied project managers and teams.
He/she must have the basic understanding of other disciplines and be able to integrate successfully with them.
The candidate should have strong computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of computer-based models will also be beneficial.
Excellent written and oral communication will be needed to coordinate with technical and non-technical staff.
Minimum Requirements
BS Environmental or Civil Engineering or equal from an Accreditation Board of Engineering & Technology accredited university or college.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater conveyance projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineering License in South Carolina and adjoining states
Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in water and wastewater conveyance projects is highly preferred.
Project Management experience is a plus!
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well in teams
Positive attitude, good aptitude, and strong initiative will integrate well with our existing group of outstanding and diverse professionals.
Troubleshoots complex project related problems and provides engineering support.
Builds and maintains technical and leadership skills through training opportunities, external training, and involvement in professional society functions.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
NASSCO PACP, MACP and LACP certified
