Description
The Role

AECOM’s Water Infrastructure team in Melbourne is currently searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who has a passion for technical excellence and is looking to further develop their experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects in a global organisation.

As an experienced engineer, you will play an integral role delivering mechanical designs as part of our integrated water infrastructure team across Australia and New Zealand. As part of the role, you will have opportunities to be mentored by leaders in our business and will in turn mentor and develop emerging engineers to shape our future professionals.

This role will give you the opportunity to work on a diverse range of major national and international water infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater treatment plants, major pump station and pipelines, and support our delivery of major transport, water, power and urban development projects. AECOM as a company have unparalleled experience in the water industry, and work on some of the most complex and technically innovative water projects in the world – you will have the opportunity to develop in this environment as we grow the strength of our national water business.

You will provide mechanical engineering design, advice, review and approval whilst maintaining the high standards of delivery excellence established by the team. At AECOM, we support exposure to a variety of types of work from asset management and strategic concept design, through to construction support and commissioning.
