Job Summary
AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a creative, highly talented Water / Wastewater Project Engineer and Project Manager for immediate employment to be based out of AECOM‘s Philadelphia, PA Office. The qualified applicant should have extensive experience leading the analysis and design of water/wastewater treatment facilities, collection systems and conveyance and experience or interest in Project Management, developing technical staff and maintaining client relationships.
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS and 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited university
10 years of progressive experience in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure design, assessment, and rehabilitation, including treatment, conveyance and pumping systems.
Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain reciprocity within six (6) months of hire
Experience in coordination with regulatory agencies
Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Project Management Experience
Experience presenting at professional conferences, leading technical workshops
Demonstrated experience in leading complex municipal Water / Wastewater projects
Experience developing junior staff and leading multidiscipline project design teams.
Ability to work independently; strong interpersonal, negotiating, problem-solving, analytical skills
