Aerzen USA Corporation is an international manufacturer of positive displacement blowers, hybrid blowers, screw compressors and turbo blowers. These high-quality machines are used for air and gas applications across many essential industries, including: Wastewater, Cement, Biogas, Pharmaceutical and Food, among many others.
We are currently seeking an Application Manager, Wastewater Treatment - Americas. This individual will provide support to our sales managers, representatives, project management and customers related to wastewater treatment applications. Assist with business development and providing technical knowledge, expertise, and documentation related to wastewater treatment applications throughout the Region Americas and the Aerzen Group. Duties include but are not limited to:
Application Development - Supporting the commercial and technical growth of wastewater treatment business and technical development in the Region Americas.
Product and Service Requirements - Define product and service requirements according to customer needs and geographic requirements.
Market Knowledge – Understand and report on the Water treatment market: competitors, competitive products and technologies, as well as market-changing forces (i.e. new regulations); distributes application knowledge and marketing knowledge throughout the Region Americas.
Product Pricing - Set target price levels in collaboration with the global wastewater treatment application management team.
Resource and Staffing Requirements - Define the infrastructure requirements within the Americas Region to sell and service our wastewater treatment product
Training - Conduct regular trainings and updates for Aerzen sales entities on the wastewater treatment application in partnership with the Parent Company.
Customer Closeness - Regular visits of key and/or local customers, fairs and symposiums together with the local sales organization
Learning Organization - Makes available application knowledge at group level together with the global application management and marketing intelligence

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in wastewater treatment industry
- Good Knowledge of the end-user application and the relevant value chain
- Ability to analyze specific market needs and translate this into relevant product offerings
Competencies:
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus
- Must be coachable, persistent
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player that takes initiative
- High level of customer focus
