The Mareco jar test press is developed to shorten the duration of the dewatering tests on sludges. The Mareco jar test press provides rapidly all required information on filtration speed and final dry solids matter. It can be used WTP sludge, sludge from anaeraobic water and many other dewaering issues.
By testing the optimum in time - pressure - polymer dosing, the Mareco jar test press is a very good predictor of the real scale filter presses and can save a lot of money on reduced polymer use.
