The Center for Sustainable Water and Environment Management "Sustainable Water" is a non-profit NGO whose purpose is to contribute to the sustainable management of water and the environment at national and international levels. His work focuses on building knowledge, policies, institutions and legal norms aimed at generating collective well-being, socio-economic and environmental development of local populations. These lines of action are achieved through the development and strengthening of social and community capacities, promoting citizen participation and responsibility in the care and collective and participatory management of watersheds and water sources and services derived from the use of these. The institution is guided by the principle of realization of the human right to water and the priority of the use of water intended for life, understood as human consumption and productive activities related to food security and the environment.
