About

Grupo Aguas de Valencia is more than a business group dedicated to water management; it is a project of social commitment, contributing to the growth of cities and municipalities in which it operates for over a century. A business plan that assumes the responsibility for the management an asset so necessary and scarce as water, under the criteria of respect and protection of our environment in an exercise of clear commitment to future generations.

When launched back in 1890, Aguas de Valencia, with an eye towards an already early Valencia demands for new services in water management, was not fully aware that 125 years later it would become the first Spanish company dedicated to the water management in our country, and its know-how and technology would surpass the boundaries of the river Turia capital.

And 125 years later, after  125 years of experience , work, innovation and more work, Aguas de Valencia has become a business group of national and international reference, specialized in the different processes that have to do with the Integrated Water Cycle. A project that has since been linked to the progress and growth of more than 300 municipalities in Spain, Latin America and Africa, thanks to the daily work of more than 1,800 professionals that make water a quality service.

Aguas de Valencia is more than a business Group; it is a commitment to social responsibility towards a primordial and finite resource such as water. Therefore, our work integrates in a non-negotiable fashion the engagement with people and environments in which we interact into our business. What we do today will be worth tomorrow, and that is why our Group is now focused on advancing in the field of innovation to continue making water a feasible resource, offering an increasingly efficient service, putting technology at service of Nature, leading European projects, and researching permanently, because research will unveil a future in which Aguas de Valencia wants to operate, making cities and environments more liveable.
