Role description:
Arcadis are excited to be growing their Water Optimisation team. We are looking for enthusiastic water professionals to join our team to work on a range of water related projects with a focus on sustainability and resilience.
Role accountabilities:
- Contribute to the delivery of plans, strategies and designs supporting key water related issues of today and the future such as climate change, water scarcity and flooding;
- Work on climate change adaptation, integrated water management and resilience related projects;
- Provide technical design expertise in areas such as water infrastructure, the modelling of flow, relocation of utilities or drainage systems;
- Coordinate and verify designs including drawings, reports, specifications and studies with project teams working across multiple offices, including our international design hubs and other engineering disciplines;
- Help grow teams as well as both internal and external relationships;
- Embrace and promote a leading digital work environment and delivery culture; and
- Work in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
Qualifications & Experience:
First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life. You pride yourself for the part you play in transforming the world around you and understand the importance of teamwork. You are a technically capable with experience in design of water infrastructure projects and come to us with:
- Experience in several facets of the project lifecycle from tendering and concept design through to construction;
- Demonstrated self-management; the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes;
- Proven skills with software such as TUFLOW, 12D, GoldSim, IQQM, WaterCAD, HydroNET, Innovyse Suite, Hammer desired;
- Experience working with a variety of clients;
- Knowledge of water infrastructure standards;
- The desire to work collaboratively in a high performing team environment; and
- Ambition to grow your technical skills and personal influence.
