Over the past decade, ALEC has worked tirelessly to become a regional leader in developing and delivering sustainability initiatives in Central Australia. This could not have been achieved without the actions of dedicated staff and tireless community volunteers. ALEC continues to be responsive to the environmental concerns and objectives of its membership and that of local community members. A great example of this is the Alice Community Garden, where ALEC has helped to facilitate the desire for a community garden into a reality.
