What will you do? 

In this position you will join our Energy business, where you will play an integral part as a Dams Engineer responsible for managing and delivering projects involving design and construction support of upgrade works and maintenance, surveillance, safety reviews and risk assessments of dam and retarding basin structures for local and inter-state clients in Energy and Water sector. 

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

Demonstrated experience or proven track record in developing and implementing dam safety management activities including surveillance inspections and monitoring.
Demonstrable experience in dams engineering activities through the full life cycle of dams from feasibility, concept design, detailed design, construction and operation and closure/ decommissioning. 
Demonstrated experience in the preparation of proposals and management of small to medium scale projects.

What can you bring to the team? 

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also be degree qualified and have experience in dams engineering with a civil - geotechnical engineering background. Additional skills in structural and hydraulic engineering would be considered favourable. Our Aurecon Attributes describe the types of people we bring together for clients.
