AVEVA is looking for a Business Analyst Manager to play an important role within Sales Intelligence. Managing the team of Business Analyst that play the role of a key interface between Regional and Commercial Function leaders and the Analytics team. The Business Analyst Manager will mentor and guide Business Analysts to solutions on business-critical problems. The Manager will also help gather high level business and functional requirements, help the team facilitate workshops, document processes, and review final deliverables with team before presenting back to the business.
Responsibilities
• Oversee team of Business Analysts tracking their core competencies
• Capture business analysis requests and ensure progress towards solutions
• Establish, manage, and drive cadence of business reporting for strategic analysis and internal business reviews
• Synthesize data and deliver insights and recommendations for increasing operational efficiency of Sales team
• Prioritize and deliver insight for ad-hoc reporting request from key Sales stakeholders
• Identify growth initiatives through team’s industry and portfolio analysis; Distill replicable best practices to utilize across industry, product, and market segments
• Coordinate with Sales Intelligence and Sales Operations leads to incorporate best practices for insight generation
• Produce strategic scorecards with KPIs to improve execution of key business deliverables
• Perform continual analysis of key behaviors and activities of top Sales performers
• Develop Rhythm of Business to include core list of reports, workshops, and dashboard to be reviewed with Sales Leaders
• Own recruitment and development of talent. Motivate, mentor, grow, and empower team members
• Perform regular 1:1s and team meetings and align team and individual objectives
• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion
Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline
• Experience in a business analyst or similar role
• Deep understanding of AVEVA Sales Data
Ability to mentor team member to help solve analytical problems with data
• Project managing skills running multiple projects and resources concurrently
• Ability to think strategically and act tactically
• Adept at developing relationships across Sales functions
• Able to proactively recognize and define problems, understand business and system processes, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Persuasive in influencing stakeholders and working closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
• Strong background in utilizing modern Analytic tools (TCRM, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) to display data visually
• Experienced in creating detailed reports (SFDC Lightning, Cubes), facilitating workshops, and leading presentations
• Excellent communication, documentation, and advanced Excel skills
