Objectives

• To be responsible for the EHS Performance in line with legal requirement and BASF requirement, continuous improvement of EHS performance within Rudong site;
• Well known and running EHS management system (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & safety standardization management system) and implementation.
• To be the deputy of EHS manager in Rudong site to lead the daily activities of EHS department in Rudong site.

Main Tasks

• Take responsible to maintain the existing IMS (RCMS, ISO14001, ISO45001 & safety standardization system) in Rudong site, updated related EHS procedures, and supervise the implement situation.
• Take responsible to EHS training system, maintain EHS training matrix, set up EHS training plan, conduct EHS training program according to site training system requirement, the training including internal and external training.
• Take responsible to support plant on environment issue (waste water, waste gas, noise and solid), organize regularly monitoring to ensure all activity being legal compliance, conduct the requirement of global, regional, greater China and site on environment in Rudong site.
• Take responsible to supporting on occupational health issue, organize regularly monitoring and physical examination to ensure all activity being legal compliance in Rudong site, conduct the requirement of global, regional, greater China and site on OH.
• Take responsible to compliance of site firefighting system, support area owner to ensure all FF device in good working order.
• Take responsible to EHS inspection system, set up EHS inspection plan for whole site, support all area owner to identify the hazard, risk assessment and preventive measure, tracking all actions to be closed on time, provide statistics data for site.
• Take responsible to process safety management in Rudong site, coordinate management of change team work with production, maintain, process, lead process safety review annually, and as coordinator for Clean Sheet Review in site and SHE review for new project.
• Take responsible to provide safety supports for construction activities by training of contractors, pre-assessment, inspection and performance assessment contractors’ safety;
• Take responsible to Transportation Distribution Safety management together with warehouse and production team in Rudong site to make sure loading/unloading safety, transportation safety and storage safety.
• Take responsible to incident/accident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, actions follow-up and lesson learning.
• To be the deputy of EHS manager in Rudong site to lead the daily activities of EHS department in Rudong site.
• Other EHS related works assigned by direct supervisor.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor and above in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental protection or safety related discipline
• Working Experience: More than 5 Years experience with Chemical Industry and at least 2 years EHS experience
• Technical & Professional Knowledge: EHS Management System Knowledge, EHS Related regulations and standards, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 knowledge
• Language: Fluent English in reading, listening and written
