Job Summary
The Project Manager position is a high-profile leadership role at B&V. In this capacity, this professional will serve as part of the Water business leadership in B&V’s Coral Springs, FL office. As part of a collaborative team, they will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of water related infrastructure projects in the South Florida area. Responsibilities include financial performance, planning, schedule, quality, and safety. A key responsibility will also be to lead sales efforts with Client Directors by working collaboratively with clients to ensure satisfaction with team performance and project milestones. Projects within the purview of this position will span from conceptual planning, across preliminary and final design, to construction phase support and construction management for wastewater, water and, water facilities; pump stations; and conveyance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of a small to medium portfolio of service projects with multiple clients, including risk to cost, schedule, quality. Responsible for the day-to-day successful execution of all aspects of the project. This would include engineering, procurement, and construction scope, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Responsible to work with business leaders to identify staffing needs and staff projects for success. Directly supervisors and manages a smaller to medium size project team. The individuals comprising this team may vary by project
- Responsible for leading some new/repeat business on small to medium size projects with some oversight from Client Directors; supports contract negotiations with client personnel.
- Manages and leads small to medium size teams of multi-discipline professionals. Coordinates and integrates the activities associated with the engineering, procurement, construction, and startup elements of the project team, including the activities of all third party companies contributing to the initiative.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of science degree.

- 15 years of Water Industry and Leadership Experience
- Business Development - Identifies client requirements. Develops and maintains relationships with clients. Conducts market research. Writes and presents project estimates and proposals including scope, cost, and schedule according to client requirements and bid processes.
- Business Acumen - Negotiates contract commercial terms. Manages project budgets, costs, and receivables. Manages contracts and legal issues. Analyzes and reports health metrics as a basis for improvement. Applies knowledge of policies and regulations to project scope. Builds relationships with key stakeholders. Applies value creation.
- Execution - Uses B&V project management phases & methodology including, project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & control, and closeout to direct work. Manages changes and risk on scope, cost, schedule, quality, and safety based on available resources and client requirements. Manages constructability and procurement. Manages warranty plan.
