Botanical Water Technologies
About
Innovating through technology
We saw the need for   change , so through trials and testing, we designed an   innovative process   to unlock drinking water in parts of the world where access to water is limited and resources are scarce.
When fruit, including sugar cane, and vegetables are pressed to extract juice and then evaporated to make concentrate or sugar, they produce a large volume of water in parallel. Until recently, this aqueous liquid was discarded, often to environmental detriment.
Our technology allows us to ' harvest ' water by filtering and purifying this evaporative condensate to create the   world's first plant-sourced pure water   - ' Botanical Water ', a name reflective of its new source.
There is up to   3 trillion litres   of available, potable water (from   over 10,000 processors ) every year that would have otherwise been discarded.
With an abundance of potable water discovered, the challenge for us was how we would distribute it effectively on a global scale. Here formed the   Botanical Water Exchange (BWX)   - a global water trading platform utilising   blockchain technology   that efficiently connects buyers and sellers.
Positively impacting people and the planet through   accredited social and environmental projects   was always front-of-mind for our team. The   Botanical Water Foundation (BWF)   was established to provide a frictionless and efficient way of delivering potable water to people who need it the most, at no cost, by regional and global food producers.
Botanical Water Technologies' goal is to deliver clean and safe drinking water and   positively impact millions of the world's most vulnerable people.
With our innovation, it's possible to not just grow water but to have it flow   sustainably   to every corner of the world.
