The City of Los Angeles/LA Sanitation & Environment’s (LASAN) Hyperion Advanced Water Purification Facility (Hyperion AWPF) symbolizes the City's dedication to water security, a sustainable future, environmental protection, and public education about resource conservation.
The project serves as a “proof of concept” towards the City’s ambitious goal of recycling 100% of LA’s wastewater at one of the largest water reclamation plants in the United States, the Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant (HWRP).
