Principal Water Engineer

Position
We are expanding our water division to accommodate increasing demand from our existing client base including Irish Water.
We are seeking a Principal Water Engineer to work within ByrneLooby Water Services Dublin. For the right individual, we are willing to take on a progressive senior engineer with relevant experience.
Requirements
- Experience in the field of drinking water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, drainage and flood risk management and assessment, ideally in Ireland and/or UK.
- Degree or masters in civil engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.
- Experience of management systems for quality, financial and project controls.
- Proven experience in delivery, project management and design of Water Infrastructure Projects.
- Superior communication skills including international collaboration with other offices, team motivation and leadership and client relationship development.
- The ability to deliver technically excellent client solutions.
- Working towards or having Chartered status or equivalent qualification.
- Is committed to Continued Professional Development.
- Experience of statutory roles such as PSDP, Assigned Certifier would be beneficial
- Experience of obtaining statutory approvals such as planning applications, environmental reports, EPA Discharge Licencing etc would be beneficial.
- Management of projects in compliance with ByrneLooby’s Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Ensure project staff are aware of, and fully compliant with, the requirements of the IMS
