Position Summary
The Senior Vice President of Sales & Business Development is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic sales plans based on company goals. This role will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization, establish the sales targets and related activities that expand ClearCove’s presence, and drive growth in the Industrial-Food and Beverage Water/Wastewater Industries. The Senior Vice President of Sales & Business Development serves as a mentor and leader within the Sales team and ClearCove. He/she reports to the CEO and is a member of the Executive Management Team.
Essential Functions
- Develops rolling 12-month sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives.
- Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.
- Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
- Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements.
- Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
- Implements approved distribution strategies.
- Manages multiple channel selling strategies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- This position requires frequent travel, minimum 50%. Valid US Driver’s license.

This position is responsible for meeting his/her sales targets and is responsible for the performance of the sales team; leading sales managers and all employees within the sales division.
Required Education and Experience
- Experience in the Food and Beverage Industry, and/or (biological) Water/Wastewater treatment sectors.
- 10 years track record of successful sales experience with increasing sales/client base, successful closer of customer accounts, proven experience in leading sales teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales and marketing or related field.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment but has a high level of travel in field environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
