Senior Water Resource Engineer

Dewberry is currently seeking a Senior Water Resource Engineer for our Atlanta, GA office.  This position is for a senior-level water resources engineer to support water resource projects including flood hazard, risk analyses and production efforts in support of FEMA Flood Insurance Studies/Risk MAP projects, and engineering support required on projects involving flood risk assessment, stormwater management and development of resiliency solutions.

Candidates will be working with Federal, state, local municipalities and other governmental agencies providing a wide variety of engineering support tasks and development of resilience solutions. Tasks include riverine and coastal hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling with GeoHMS, GeoRAS, HECHMS, and HECRAS, as well as other H&H software, for FEMA Flood Insurance Studies to establish flood hazard engineering and mapping.  Candidates should have experience with Geographic Information Systems and the ESRI platform.
