We are seeking highly motivated experienced candidates to our team as Application Scientist in Advanced Cleans Technologies, part of DuPont Electronics & Industrial business in Korea. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of next generation wet cleaning and high-selective etchant(HSE) solutions and related technologies for memory or logic devices and other applications in the semiconductor industry. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving scientific innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions to meet the technical demands of our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Pioneering Research and Development : You will be responsible for conducting pioneering research to develop new wet cleaning & high selective etchant (HSE) solutions. This includes the preparation and delivery of comprehensive scientific data packages, elucidating the fundamental mechanisms and process conditions, and demonstrating qualified performance in line with customer requirements.

• Methodology Development : You will establish new in house methodologies to accurately mimic the performance of our solutions on customer sites and address critical issues faced by our customers. This will involve a deep understanding of wet chemical processes and a keen awareness of customer needs.

• Ingredient Exploration : You will explore new ingredients by leveraging your fundamental understanding, conducting patent landscape analysis, designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting results. Your creativity and research efforts will contribute to improving existing products/formulation templates or creating new, innovative solutions.

• Collaboration and Communication : You will collaborate with local and global customers, as well as work closely with cross-functional teams. Effective communication and teamwork will be essential as you engage in cooperative projects and contribute to the overall success of our team.

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Master degree : Candidates should hold a Ph.D or Master's degree in Chemistry or Polymer or Chemical Engineering or Material Science and Engineering. Previous research experience in semiconductor cleaning is a Plus.

• Research and Development Experience : A minimum of 3 years experience in research and development area is required. Demonstrating a strong understanding of the product development cycle, from idea generation to product launch and continuous improvement.

• Analytical Expertise : Experience and knowledge in electrochemistry or chemicals/polymers will be advantageous.

• Semiconductor Expertise : Familiarity with highly selective etchant, post etching reside removal (PERR), post chemical mechanical polishing (PCMP) cleaning, or semiconductor clean chemistry will be a plus

• Strong project management skills, a collaborative spirit, and excellent communication skills are highly recommended for success in this role.

• Fluent in English communication skill will be plus
