Global Reverse Osmosis Product Leader
Role Overview: DuPont Water Solutions is a $1.1 Bn fast growing business, globally recognizes as the technology components leader for the Water Industry. DuPont Water Solutions has three major technologies namely, Reverse Osmosis, Ion Exchange Resin and Ultra-Filtration.
Reverse Osmosis, sold primarily under the FILMTEC™ brand is the leading brand of RO elements supporting industrial water, wastewater, desalination, residential and specialty membrane markets. RO products are manufactured locations in Edina USA, Jubail in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a planned expansion for Asia. The business will leverage the leading market share, unparalleled global reach and performance driven innovation to grow 7-10% over the next 5-7 years to continue to bring water sustainability across markets and around the globe.
Reporting to Global Product Leader for DuPont Water Solutions, this Global Reverse Osmosis Product leader position will be a key position focusing on Top KPIs such as:
1. Product line management for the technology to deliver results every Qtr.
2. Pricing and profitability leadership.
3. Product portfolio ownership.
4. Asset strategy.
5. Holistic E2E oversight from demand, supply and innovation to enable the cross functional global team through Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Product Line management
• Maximize the business results on revenue and profitability of the Reverse Osmosis assets using price, portfolio mix management, regional and customer segmentation; in alignment with Business Strategy monthly.
• Owner of the multiyear strategic roadmap from product portfolio to asset/capacity strategy to cost competitiveness.
• Act as a change agent, modeling the appropriate creative leadership and business ownership behaviors throughout the organization to deliver growth.
• Use data and key metrics to measure progress and demonstrate business impact
2. Price Management and Optimization
• Set price floors and guide price adjustments to maximize profitability based on asset loading and market demand conditions
• Provide guidance on Overall pricing approach, integration between market and internal profitability considerations (provide floor price recommendations to regions)
• Actively manage inter-regional price differences to maximize profitability on products supported by constrained assets
3. Product Portfolio Management
• Develop portfolio integration plans to include global internal and external manufacturing capability to maximize financial and industry impact. Own the portfolio streamlining process and drive implementation.
• Aggressively manage the product portfolio by developing a strategy to manage the product life cycle; active management to optimize price, discontinue low performing products, cannibalize with new innovations and promote through service standards desirable products.
• Work with Market Innovation Teams to ensure a healthy new product pipeline
4. Asset Strategy
• Using the 5-year demand forecast from the Long-Term Financial Plan, partner with Integrated Operations and Manufacturing Technology on long term capacity and sourcing plans.
• Define the vision for asset capability across a global grid of sites by continuously looking for alternate asset options and bring new ideas to improve capital efficiency and Return on Invested Capital (ROIC).
5. Integrated business planning as the key business process
• Ensure that Product sourcing decisions are aligned with product strategy and differential management priorities:
o overall network balance and supply prioritization decisions
o make vs. buy analysis to achieve quality and cost targets while meeting growth volumes
• Develop and implement asset utilization plan which includes: product mix optimization, sell out/up, and manage in tight supply. Clear and proactive communication across all stakeholders on monthly cycle
• Support Business Service Standards that allow the business to win with targeted customers by balancing market needs and operational capability while maximizing profitability of the asset
• Manages crises related to unplanned supply issues, product performance in service, and/or customer requests
• Develop and implement order management and prioritization during times of tight supply, which maximizes asset profitability (revenue and EBITDA)
• Partner with marketing, commercial and competitive intelligence to benchmark product line service standards in the industry and ensure strategy is aligned with expectations.
Job Qualifications
Required:
• Excellent business and financial acumen; MBA preferred (SGL 10-12)
• Clear and concise communication skills with all levels of the organization
• Ability to drive decisions and implement plans across all stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience using data to driven optimization decisions
• Demonstrated experience driving business decisions based on data, scenario modeling, market needs, and strategic alignment.
• Ability to develop and possess operational command of the business.

• Ability to provide guidance to front-line sales teams
• Ability to self-initiate and self-manage complex cross-functional project activity.
• Ability to travel up to 40% of time, some international
