Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, is looking for a Waste Water Site Manager to join our industry leading Nalco Water team. You will be joining a talented team that monitors and maintains a variety of air and water quality systems pertaining to the paint booth at an automotive manufacturing site. In this position you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of site personnel.

What You Will Do:
- Supervise hourly Wastewater Treatment Plant personnel
- Time and attendance reporting
- Material Procurement
- Coordinate safety, ensure meaningful safety talks are conducted
- Responsible for 100% on time preventative maintenance tasking generated by the approved site Computerized Maintenance Management system
- Responsible for following supervisory, operational, and maintenance requirements:
- Daily sampling requirements and jar testing
- Daily calibration of meters to maintain proper QA & QC
- Daily end-of-shift reporting to Site Utility Manager and Environmental Engineer for work performed that day, Zn results and Discharge flow information
- Monthly and quarterly sampling requirements
- Meeting DMR, CMR, and BMR requirements
- Daily chemical inventory
- Operate, maintain, and repair the Laboratory Atomic Absorption MASS Spectrometer
- Perform preventative maintenance based on MAXIMO PM system requirements
- Properly coordinate with other contractors and major repair to work tanks, pumps, and operational disruptions
- Properly involve corporate leadership when required to analyze and treat difficult tanks to maintain compliance at all times
- Follow Environmental calendar for all report requirements to the City of Fort Wayne
- Meet with Chemical Manager and others for Paint Shop dump requirements
Position Details:
- Location: Fort Wayne
- Shift: Mon.-Fri. 7:00am-4:00pm (position requires on-call 24/7)
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7-10 years’ experience in Wastewater Treatment plant maintenance/operations and management
- Class D Certification
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, talking and hearing
- Must be able to wear a respirator under certain conditions
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills; proven ability to interface positively and professionally with the customer
- Ability to analyze readings and put data in a spreadsheet in a logical manner
- Possess above-average verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience managing a group of 5+ employees
