Business Driver- Water & Waste Water

Based in Edmonton, this role will be responsible for technical commercial activities required to develop and grow the company’s position in the municipal market. This is done primarily through creating and leveraging relationships in the municipal sector through being specified or on approved vendor lists and expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth by promoting and selling our cutting-edge instrumentation solutions to clients in the water and wastewater industry.
Role+Responsibility
- Support the channel sales rep in the selling of the full range of Endress+Hauser products, engineered solutions and services in a competent and professional manner
- Identify key stakeholders within the municipal ecosystem
- Engineering Consultants
- Municipalities
- Integrators / Contractors
- Ensure Endress+Hauser products are specified on the tenders for municipal projects (Engineering Consultants and Municipalities)
- Develop and execute plans to fill the gaps for products not on Approved Manufacturer Lists (AMLs) for consultants and/or municipalities
- Take responsibility to get commitment from municipalities to commit to running trials
- Work with relevant stakeholders to plan the trial implementation
- Work with sales and/or channel partners to monitor KPIs for trials to ensure a positive outcome
- Work with engineering consultants to write specifications around Endress+Hauser’s strengths
- Actively promote new products in the relevant ecosystem with respect to a product marketing campaign to drive interest, specifications, and sales
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets within the water and wastewater sector
- Identify, target, and establish relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in potential client organizations
- Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers, addressing their specific instrumentation needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits and capabilities of our instrumentation solutions
- Submit accurate sales proposals, quotes, and contracts, and negotiate terms to close deals
- Collaborate closely with different teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
Qualifications+Profile
- Experience in industrial sales or business development and instrumentation
- Ability to travel across Western Canada to meet with customers within the municipal ecosystem
- Ability to work in a high pace environment
- Ability to self-drive to achieve goals
- Excel at time management
