Courses that demonstrate time-saving modelling techniques

We are pleased to let you know that we will be running the following interactive online training courses this month. All of these courses will demonstrate time-saving modelling techniques and typically include highly interactive discussions. Topics can be tailored to the learning requirements of attendees. 

  1. Source Catchment Modelling Date:  20 October 2020 (9:00am – 3:00pm); Cost $500 (+GST); Prerequisite: None .  This short course covers a basic introduction to catchment modelling, defining and delineation of catchments, rainfall-runoff models, climatic data and model parameterisation,  c alibration of rainfall-runoff models.
  2. Source River System Modelling,  Date: 21 October 2020 (10:00am – 3:00pm); Cost $400 (+GST); Prerequisite: None .  This short course covers a basic introduction to river system model elements, the building of river-system model, configuring storages, minimum flows, supply points and water users Register here  for Source Interactive Online Training (Catchment & River System). 
  3. MUSIC (v6) Stormwater Modelling Date: 27-28 October 2020; Cost $1,400 (+GST); Prerequisite: None.  The two-day complete  course  covers stormwater modelling using MUSIC and its application in the development and/or assessment of Water Sensitive Urban Design.  The course will also cover MUSIC-link – the tool developed to streamline the process for assessing the WSUD compliance against guidelines from a specific council or authority.  Register here  for MUSIC (v6) Interactive Online Training.  

A credit of 50% of the training fee paid can be used in any new eWater software license purchase within the next 12 months.
