Financial Manager

About the Financial Manager position
We are looking for a skilled Financial Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, debtor & creditor management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation & treasury. You will help review and develop our internal control policies and procedures as well as perform financial risk management which includes the day to day operating Cashflow management.

Financial Manager responsibilities are:

• Management of Billing, A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition, GL and Counsel
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
• Treasury & Cashflow management.
• Preparation and Management of the budgets and financial forecasts.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting
• Preparation of month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform quality control over financial transactions
• Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
• Preparation of regulatory reporting
• Creating timely monthly financial statements including Managements.

Financial Manager minimum requirements are:

• Excellent communication skills and processing speed.
• BA, BSc, MA in Finance, Economics or Investment Banking preferably CA.
• 5+ years' experience as a Financial Manager in the Construction, Civil, Engineering or Consulting industries.
• Profound experience with accounting procedures and principles
• Good knowledge of accounting software like Xero, CaseWare, Excel and MS365 products
• Strong mathematical and administration skills
