Senior Regional Product Compliance Specialist

Grundfos is seeking an experienced Regional Product Compliance Specialist to join its Regional Compliance team. The Regional Product Compliance Specialist will enable that Grundfos products & solutions meet local compliance obligations with regards to all relevant compliance areas by obtaining and maintaining local approvals/certification across the region. Additionally, secure efficient monitoring of new or changed product compliance obligations and ensure that the Grundfos organization (Division & Group stakeholders) is informed, the potential business impact and process to secure compliance is understood.
The compliance specialist role to which this job description will be applied include the following regional sites: South America: Main markets in scope include Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Peru.
This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Regional Product Compliance and will operate daily out of the Buenos Aires, Argentina facility. Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in Argentina without support.
What is the job about?
- Identify and communicate the mandatory regulatory product compliance demands, including any need for product approval and/or certification for the countries in scope.
- Monitor local product regulations across the region in order to secure full transparency regarding existing, changed or new product compliance obligations at the national/ local level.
- Implement Product Compliance Frameworks (according to the Product Compliance Management Process) for new or changed regulations related to local product compliance obligations across the region.
- Drive the local product approval/certification process in close collaboration with internal and external (i.e. national certification bodies) stakeholders across the region.
- Manage contact to local regulators/3rd party approval agencies (with insight into the contractual agreements as needed).
- Specialist knowledge concerning compliance obligations, local regulations, certification requirements, standards and the approval process for local compliance obligations related to Grundfos products & solutions
- Exhibits strong internal networking skills: Recognized by Division stakeholders as the “point of contact” regarding regional product compliance for the countries in scope
What do you need to apply?
- Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other related fields of study. Additionally, have a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Specialist knowledge of local regulations and compliance obligations
- Experience working with external approval agencies
- Experience working with approvals and type testing
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Project management skills to run local approval processes
- Ability to plan activities in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders across the full value chain
- Interest in local regulations and regulative processes
- Understanding of the Grundfos business, associated processes and products & offerings portfolio
- Experienced IT skills, including SAP
- Fluent in English & Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil) language skills as advantage
- Must be able to travel up to 5% if necessary. Thus candidates should be able to maintain valid identification.
