*This is a Global role and can be located remotely from any global location near a major airport. Ideal candidates are in North America, Germany, or Belgium. Other locations will be considered.

* Water_Quality_Platform_Overview Danaher's Water Quality ( WQ ) Platform is part of the Environmental & Applied Solutions reporting segment and is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and handle the quality of ultra pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications.

Our water quality business provides products under a variety of brands, including Hach, ChemTreat, Trojan Technologies, OTT/ Hydromet and McCrometer. Water Quality has sales of approximately $2B with a global footprint.

Position_Summary

As a Platform Account Manager, you'll lead the management of 4-6 key customer accounts and will be responsible to strategically drive growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins for the operating companies (OpCo s) within the Water Quality platform. This is an outstanding opportunity to work cross functionally to strategically unite multiple organizations to best support key accounts and further the mission of our Water Quality brands.

* Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.

* Represent and promote the OpCos within the WQ platform and their products and services; expanding the relationships by continuously proposing diverse solutions to meet the customer s needs and objectives.

* Facilitate communication of opportunities across OpCo s, geographies and org levels.

* Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.

* Report Sales & Bookings budget, forecast and Actual performance.

* Participate in funnel reviews for Platform Accounts Key_Attributes

* Ability to influence others

* Sales Familiarity understand the realities of what field sales associates deal with and incorporate that into process development work

* Results oriented - has track record for delivering results, taking ownership and is accountable

* Stretch oriented - embraces and flourishes with challenge

* Possesses strong business sense and learning agility

Minimum_Qualifications

* 5+ years of Commercial experience preferably in business development or key account management

* Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering require; MBA preferred

* Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a general manager s point of view

* Exceptional ability in development of business strategies and strong executive presence

* Excellent leadership, negotiation, problem solving, decision making, project management, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills required

* Good writing and administrative skills, including computer skills (word processing, graphics, spreadsheet, etc.)

* Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management

* Ability to work effectively across organizations and cross culturally Language_Capability
