This position is a key member of the Hach Global Human Resources team. This position partners with our North America Sales, Sales Operations, and Global Key Account teams, providing a wide variety of critical human resource responsibilities include advising and guiding leaders and associates in core practices, providing information and advice around regulations, policies, and programs. The role provides general HR support in a proactive, results-oriented way that is aligned with our business strategy.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
This position serves as Human Resources Partner for the wider Hach Sales organizations for North America. As the HR Partner, you will be the main point of contact for our associate human resources inquiries within the North American Sales teams.
Support HR Leadership in the phases of the associate life cycle including, but not limited to:
- Collaborate with others on the external and internal recruitment process
- Support ongoing training and development for our customer group and partner with learning and development
- Partner with our internal customers on performance management
- Engagement and Retention– partner with others to improve associate engagement, tracking progress on engagement and action planning; Regular coach and counsel managers in enhancing their own leadership skills, addressing concerns, and improving on opportunities to develop robust teams.
- Collaboration with others to implement, improve, and utilize our talent development processes.
- Ensures optimal relationships with our customers through strength in understanding and creating solutions to deliver the highest satisfaction levels for our diverse set of associates.
- Support Human Resources Leadership in many ways such as: delivering reports (turnover, staffing ratios, etc.), coordinating unemployment responses, handling recruiting processes, leading parts of the onboarding process.
- Works with HR Leadership on associate relations investigations and may collaborate with managers and legal counsel on outcomes and next steps.
- Enter necessary associate data in HR systems in a timely, accurate manner. Create, maintain and lead the compliance of associate files. Assist in creating, changing and maintaining gender-neutral job descriptions.
- Dedicated to innovation, inspiring teams to meet and exceed expectations.
- Drives execution of temporary countermeasures to problems even before the root cause is determined to maintain customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of experience in an HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience.
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness to lead and engage effectively with experienced global cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Possesses a problem-solving mentality.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced and high-performing culture.

- Experienced in the use of continuous improvement tools (standard work, root cause analysis, voice of the customer, etc.) preferred.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
