Healthy Rivers at the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation

The Healthy River program is led by the River Science group within the Western Australian state government's Department of Water and Environmental Regulation.

The program conducts research and investigations to build understanding of river ecosystems, in order to provide science to underpin management of water and environmental resources.

The Healthy Rivers website was created to share the information collected, standard methods for assessment and links to management approaches that are informed by the science.
