HydroChem UK Ltd is a water treatment company, based in the North East of England, with a UK wide customer base. The company operates SafeWater, a water hygiene monitoring program to give legionella compliance as well as covering all other aspects of water treatment works including tank cleans, service calls and plant installation.
A city and Guild qualified, Legionella Risk Assessor, is required to join the team. The successful applicants will be required to work individually as well as part of a team when required. Flexibility is essential as the job involves travelling around the country, overnight stays and limited weekend overtime work as required. Experience within the water industry and L8 is required with City and Guilds Legionella Risk assessor qualifications for domestic, hospitality, and leisure sites. Whilst on site the successful candidate will be liaising with clients and therefore an incredibly professional manner is vital. The position reports to the Operational Supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
- To undertake legionella Risk Assessment work including Site survey, write ups and schematics.
- Deliver Legionella Awareness Training to clients
- To liaison with, and support clients whilst on site to develop strong working relationships and longevity of contracts
Key Skills and Experience
- Good working knowledge of HSG 274 and 282.
- At least two-year experience of Risk Assessment Work
- Effective communication skills essential
- Good computer skills, including word, Excel and Power Point
- Conscientious and flexible with a good work ethic.
